If you expect to complete requirements for any degree, diploma, or certificate, you should submit your application for graduation to the Records Office by Monday, October 12, 2009 (for December completers) or by Monday, March 15 (for May completers). All graduates are eligible to participate in the May 15 graduation ceremony.

Rehearsal

All graduates should attend graduation rehearsal at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14 at The Forum at the Hal Rogers Center located in front of Hazard High School on Highway 15 South.

Graduation

Graduates of all program areas other than our Allied Health programs should arrive by 8:30 a.m. in order to line up for the 10:00 a.m. ceremony.

Allied Health graduates (Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, and Radiography programs) should arrive at the Forum by 12:30 p.m. on Saturday to line up for the 2:00 p.m. ceremony.

Caps, Gowns, Tassels and Invitations

Caps, Gowns, Tassels, and invitations may be purchased in the bookstore at the Hazard Campus (606-487-3142) or the Lees College Campus (606-666-9515).

Professional Photography

HCTC will provide one free professional photograph to each graduate who attends the graduation ceremony. This photograph will be taken as the graduate is handed his or her diploma cover. In addition, the President's platform party will be available for individual family photos immediately following the ceremony for those interested.

Photographs will be available beginning Thursday, May 20, and may be picked up at Gordon's Photo Center, 341 East Main Street, Hazard KY (606-436-5744).
