Q: I get an invalid file type error when trying to load a file from my computer to blackboard.  What do I do?

A: Clearing your history usually fixes this problem. 

For IE:

1. Click "Tools" from the menu at the top
2. Select "Internet Options"
3. Click "Delete" under browsing history

For FF:

1. Click "Tools" from the menu at the top
2. Select "Clear Private Data"
