                                Developmental Studies Program

The purpose of the Developmental Education Program at

Hazard Community & Technical College is to help students overcome deficiencies in english,

reading, and math preparing them for success in college level coursework.  Students will also develop

and improve study skills, critical thinking skills, appreciation of life experiences, and the confidence

to fulfill their potential, as students and as individuals.
