HCTC PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SURVEY -- Fall 2012
In an effort to meet the needs of HCTC faculty and staff, the Professional Development Committee has designed brief surveys for both faculty and staff to complete. Your feedback will assist the Professional Development Committee to determine when professional development sessions should be offered, where the sessions should be held, and what topics should be covered. The survey results will also assist the Committee in determining whether professional development sessions for faculty should be held separately from professional development sessions for staff. Please take just a few moments to complete the survey; thank you for your support and participation.
I feel that professional development sessions should be offered to the staff and faculty:
on the same days
on different days
either format is acceptable
If you feel that staff should have professional development on days separate from faculty, which day is best?
I answered "on the same days" to question 1
I feel that professional development sessions should be offered:
at all campuses
at one central location
If professional development is offered at different campuses, would you like to see sessions offered:
If professional development sessions are offered live, I feel that each campus should offer the same topics.
How many sessions should be offered per day?
How many topics would you like to see per day?
Please suggest at least one professional development training topic.
How can the Professional Development Committee improve professional development activities?
